Doja Cat, Shawn Mendes, Twenty One Pilots, Chloe Join MTV VMAs Performer Lineup
Jem Aswad Senior Music EditorChlöe, Doja Cat, Shawn Mendes and Twenty One Pilots are joining the lineup of performers for the 2021 MTV VMAs, taking place live from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Sunday, September 12 at 8PM ET/PT and airing on MTV.On the show, Chlöe, one half of the duo Chloe x Halle, will premiere her first single, “Have Mercy,” from her upcoming solo album, while Mendes will perform his new single “Summer of Love” and Twenty One Pilots will play their single “Saturday.”The join the previously announced lineup of Lil Nas X, Lorde, Olivia Rodrigo, Machine Gun Kelly and Camila Cabello, with more expected to be announced.Plans for an audience for the show have yet to be announced.
