The cast made that crystal clear when ET's Kevin Frazier spoke with them on the red carpet at the Pacific Design Center on Thursday in Los Angeles.The Oscar-nominated actor and 23-time GRAMMY-winning rapper signed on as executive producers through their production companies Overbrook and Roc Nation, to tell the story of Mamie Till-Mobley, who devoted her life to seeking justice for her son, Emmett Till, following his brutal murder.But while the cast admits none of them talked to Smith or JAY-Z, their impact as collaborators was felt throughout.
