knife attack at a New York City restaurant.The Rick & Morty star was slashed as she tried to break up a fight at The Black Ant in the East Village, after a man, who appeared to be drunk, was turned away as he tried to get a table at the restaurant.According to bystanders, the man began arguing with employees and several customers, when Spencer and her dinner partner, Jan Phillip Mueller, jumped out of their seats to try and diffuse the situation.“My friend and I did what anyone else would do in the same situation,” Grammer says in a statement to Us Weekly.
