Burglars who travelled from Wigan to target a Cheshire home were caught out by two eagle-eyed builders and an off-duty police officer.David Warburton and Dwayne Madden travelled from Wigan to Knutsford to target a home in the affluent suburb of Knutsford.The pair broke into an address on Bexton Lane on the morning of February 7 and helped themselves to cash and jewellery.But as they searched the property, they activated the burglar alarm which caught the attention of two builders who were working at a nearby property.When the workmen investigated they found that the back door had been damaged and spotted Warburton and Madden acting suspiciously nearby.The builders got into touch with the owner of the property they were working on who passed
