Join thousands of others who have signed up for the Daily Record newsletter.A stretch of the A82 is to close for overnight resurfacing, with drivers urged to plan ahead to avoid being caught out by a lengthy diversion.Work on the northbound carriageway between Gavinburn and the Dunglass roundabout will take place overnight between 8pm and 6am from Wednesday July 8 until Friday July 10.Motorists making essential journeys during the closure are advised to leave plenty of extra time to travel, with a 50 minute diversion route in place.Brendan O’Sullivan, Scotland TranServ’s area manager, said: “The A82 is an essential route connecting Glasgow and the Central Belt with Dumbarton, Loch Lomond and the North.
