Cleveland Guardians’ Catcher Austin Hedges Rips Umpires As A Controversial Call Causes The Ball Club A Game
Last night the Cleveland Guardians took on the Detroit Tigers in game three of a four-game series that was tied at one game a piece. In the top of the 1st with two outs, a ball was hit towards second base where it then hit the bag and bounced to the Guardians’ shortstop Tyler Freemen who fired the ball to Guardians’ catcher Austin Hedges at home plate who then tagged out the runner for the third out. Or at least that is what Cleveland thought had happened.
