Blackpool's popular Lightpool Festival postponed
which sees the Lancashire resort taken over by a carnival of lights, pyrotechnics and colourful performances usually draws thousands to the coastal town. Organisers of the two-week lightshow, which was due to run over the half-term holiday from October 16-31 have said they couldn't run the event properly during these uncertain times.
