Where the Teletubbies original actors are now, from tragic death to showbiz success
The original BBC Teletubbies series was one of the most iconic TV shows of the nineties and has now been around for over 20 years! Children everywhere tuned in to see Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa Laa and Po's antics, as they bounded around Teletubby land in their search for tubby toast.The characters each had their own personality, and prop that they became known for, as well as their TV tummies. Purple Tinky Winky was known for his triangular antenna, and always carried a handbag, Dipsy was green, and had a 'dipstick' antenna. Laa-Laa was yellow with a curly antenna and loved to sing and dance, and then Po was the littlest teletubby, and was known for her soft voice.
