"Essential" work on A9 bridge in Perthshire to take place over weekend
Aberuthven, will start on Saturday with six weeks required to complete the job. The project will involve the replacement of expansion joints on the structure, which carries the A9 over the River Earn, as well as upgrading and replacing the existing parapet.Short-term future of popular tourist attraction secure after major funding boostThe A9 will remain open but a contraflow traffic management arrangement will be in operation during the bridge repairs.This traffic management will be in place day and night for three weeks of work on each carriageway.
