Family of tragic Stirling teen make donation to thank disability charity
The relatives of a Stirling teenager who sadly died aged just 19 have said a heartfelt thank you to a charity who were like a “second family” to her. Those close to Rachel Galloway say she will be remembered as someone who made a great impression on others, forging friendships wherever she went. Her winning smile was always on show during her time with PLUS Forth Valley, a charity which provides social opportunities for children and young people with disabilities, which had become a second home for her. That was recognised recently as Rachel’s mum Suzanne and brother Alistair presented a cheque for £2600 in her memory to the charity.Rachel, who died in June, had attended PLUS from the age of five.
