Fears 'homeless tidal wave is coming' as temporary accommodation numbers soar
The number of people living in temporary accommodation in Salford has soared by 238 percent in the last four years with a further 'homelessness tidal wave coming', caused by the cost of living crisis. That stark warning has come from the city's head of supported housing Rachel Connelly who has presented an update on temporary accommodation and rough sleeping to councillors.
