Celebration for thoughtful youngster as she completes 100-mile charity challenge
MORE NEWS FROM THE PAISLEY DAILY EXPRESSHer mum had suggested 50 miles would be fine, but Abigail put her foot down and said she wanted to hit the 100.The miles were totted up locally around Howwood and Renfrewshire, as well as on family day trips.Abigail starts in primary four later this month.She handed over £1,500 to St Vincent’s Hospice last time out.Last September, she cycled 16 miles on her trusty Schwinn bike after learning how St Vincent’s cared for her grandfather in his final days.Like all charities, the hospice is struggling to raise money at the moment.Morag,48, said: “She feels as if she knows her grandfather and holds him very deep in her heart.“She talks about the hospice and how good they were to her grandad.“In 2019, she
