Brexit remains a risk for South Lanarkshire Council after warning that EU funding will dry up
South Lanarkshire Council’s risk register were given to councillors this week and the effects of Britain leaving the EU remain a concern. Lynn Sherry, head of education, said: “There are more risks in our risk control register that are scored high than we normally would [have] in prior years.”Ms Sherry outlined changes to the register, including the addition of a Covid-19 risk,to the council’s education committee on Tuesday, January 19.She added: “We have a council risk management strategy and we have to look at our risks on an annual basis.
