Police Scotland have confirmed they are investigating reports that three Glasgow Rocks players were subjected to vile racist abuse.David Mpondo, Julius Van Sauers and Marc Kwedi say they were targeted with vile comments and harassment from neighbours after moving into a Barmulloch flat.The trio were repeatedly visited by police after ‘bogus’ noise complaints were made and claimed they were accused of having prostitutes at the property last month.In a statement released by the basketball team yesterday, they told how a car belonging to the players had its tyres slashed and the windscreen smashed with a hammer.The club said: “Glasgow and Scotland are wonderful places to live and grow.
