‘Flee’ Art Director Jess Nicholls on Animation Versus Live Action: ‘There’s a Lot to Learn From Each Other’

Directed by Jonas Poher Rasmussen and focused on the story of a gay Afghan refugee known as Amin Nawabi, “Flee” heavily utilizes techniques of both live-action and animated filmmaking.
