Business champion Graeme Johnstone retires after helping Prestwick soar to success
Prestwick business community has retired.Graeme Johnstone has been a trader in the town for nearly 21 years – operating the Inspirations shop in the Main Street.The grandfather-of-two has helped the seaside town soar to success by spearheading the organisation of the Christmas Light Up Day and many other schemes. The festive event has attracted crowds of 6,000.The 67-year-old battled to get parking times increased from 20 minutes to two hours in the town and fought off charges.
