Boston police made an arrest after an early Sunday morning stabbing rampage in the city’s theater district left four people wounded, including one victim who suffered life-threatening injuries.  Daryl Diamond, 39, of Dorchester, Massachusetts, is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on four counts of assault with intent to murder and four counts of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon – knife, Boston police said. No motive has been announced in the stabbings.  The incident first unfolded at approximately 2:10 a.m.

A 14-year-old girl was arrested in Maryland for allegedly pulling a knife during a caught-on-camera school lunchroom brawl.  Video showed the girl drawing what authorities said was a large 8-to-10-inch kitchen knife during a fight inside the cafeteria at Thomas Johnson High School in Frederick, Maryland, on Friday.  According to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office, School Resource Officer Deputy 1st Class Dustin Turner witnessed two girls fighting in the lunchroom and immediately intervened when one was seen holding the knife in a "threatening manner."  Girl, 14, pulls large knife at Thomas Johnson High School in Frederick, Maryland. A Georgia K9 deputy uncovered more than $172,000 worth of fentanyl tablets shipped from California.  The discovery, made during a routine check at a Gainesville package delivery hub last week, was the first package that has been found containing fentanyl in Hall County, located about 55 miles from Atlanta.  The Hall County Sheriff’s Office and the Homeland Security Investigations Task Force seized the shipment of fentanyl tablets, which was worth approximately $172,500. The check was conducted Thursday, with the use of an HCSO narcotics detection K9, the sheriff’s office said in a news release Friday, and shared a photo of the blue pills packaged in plastic.  Georgia drug agents discovered $172K worth of fentanyl tablets at a Hall County delivery hub.  (Hall County Sheriff's Office) The K9 was taking part in an open-air search of packages arriving at the delivery hub when he alerted on a package from California being shipped to Oakwood, the sheriff’s office said.  Drug agents found the fentanyl, weighing about 575 grams, in a package concealed inside the original box.The investigation into the identities of the sender and the recipient of the package continues.
