Billy Ray has every intention of shamelessly plugging the actors who populated his Showtime series, The Comey Rule, at every opportunity that presents itself this awards season. “I want my actors to get their due,” says the Oscar-nominated writer, who also directed the two-night event series about former FBI director James Comey – or more specifically the consequences of his decision to publicly reveal the Hillary Clinton email probe while staying mum about the investigation into Trump’s Russia ties.
