‘Back 4 Blood’ tops predecessor ‘Left 4 Dead’s’ player record on Steam
Turtle Rock Studios‘ long-awaited multiplayer zombie shooter Back 4 Blood has launched to immediate success, hitting a higher number of concurrent players on Steam in one day than the original Left 4 Dead‘s highest ever player count.The original Left 4 Dead, which launched on PC, Mac, and Xbox 360 back in 2008, saw an all-time peak player base of 30,618 in 2009. However, as spotted by PCGamesN, Back 4 Blood has easily beaten that already.The new title hit a peak of 57,883 players, just one day after its full release (October 12).
