Despite doing a pretty great job on the underrated “Kong: Skull Island” (which is looking even better in hindsight considering how difficult it has been to get people interested in the Monsterverse film franchise), things have been relatively quiet for director Jordan Vogt-Roberts. Sure, he has a few projects in development (when is that “Metal Gear Solid” film ever getting made, though?), but outside of an upcoming ‘Walking Dead’ spinoff pilot episode and a PS4 commercial, Vogt-Roberts has kept a pretty low profile in recent years.
