‘Many Saints of Newark’ star Michael Gandolfini joins ‘The Offer’ cast
The Many Saints of Newark,” Michael Gandolfini is now set to join Paramount+’s “The Offer,” Variety reported Thursday. The 22-year-old son of the late “Sopranos” star James Gandolfini will play Andy Calhoun, a businessman set on purchasing Paramount, in the 10-episode series.The biographical miniseries will tell the true story of producer Albert S. Ruddy’s making of the legendary 1972 mob movie “The Godfather.”The show will also star Matthew Goode as producer Robert Evans, Giovanni Ribisi as Joe Colombo, Colin Hanks as Barry Lapidus, Dan Fogler as Francis Ford Coppola, Zack Schor as assistant director set-runner Fred Gallo and Juno Temple as Ruddy’s assistant Bettye McCartt, according to Variety.
