Drake Threatened to Quit ‘Degrassi’ Over His Character’s Wheelchair Storyline, Writer Says

Club on Thursday, former “Degrassi” writer James Hurst recalled that the rapper — whose real name is Aubrey Graham — worried the wheelchair made him look “soft” and even threatened legal action against the show.“There was a letter from a law firm in Toronto, and it was from Aubrey,” Hurst said.
