whisky in the world for 2020 - and despite the surging popularity of single malts the winner was actually a blend.The International Whisky Competition, which has been running since 2010, has declared the Dewar's Double Double 32 Year Old its Whisky of the Year.Created by current master blender, Stephanie Macleod, who also won Master Blender of the Year, the blended whisky was awarded the highest score across all of its many categories.Produced using an innovative four stage aging process for "extra smoothness", the Double Double range is aged, blended together, aged again, then finished in sherry casks.The 32 Year Old scored an impressive 96.4 points - the highest in the competition.Much like the Olympic Games the judging panel award a trio
