Three men charged with murder of 18-year-old Cole Kershaw after shooting in Bury
A statement from GMP said: "At around 9.40pm on Wednesday, August 12, police were called to reports of a firearms discharge on Chesham Road. "Officers attended and established that an 18-year-old man had been shot."The victim was taken to hospital where he sadly died a short time later. He has since been formally identified as Cole Kershaw."Cole's heartbroken brother Patrick Kershaw paid tribute to the teen following his death.He said: "He was a party animal, an absolute legend.“He loved his boxing and was earning a trade as an apprentice scaffolder.”Friend Morgan Thornton also paid tribute, saying: "Cole was a good kid and had an amazing spirit.“He was the life and soul of the party.
