Camilla's ex-husband given Royal role as he represents Queen Consort at funeral
Camilla’s ex-husband has been handed a new Royal role – attending a funeral on behalf of the Queen Consort. Brigadier Andrew Parker Bowles, 82, represented his ex-wife at the funeral of John Bowes-Lyon – second cousin of the late Queen Elizabeth II – at Brompton Oratory in Knightsbridge, London.The move was revealed in the Court Circular, the official record of royal engagements. It said: “The King was represented by the Earl of Rosslyn at the Funeral of Mr John Bowes-Lyon.
