Stephen Glass knows his Dundee United history but Aberdeen boss insists 'I sit on the red side now'
Dundee United’s Scottish Cup heartbreak and is out to add to it by guiding Aberdeen into the semi-finals.United travel to Pittodrie on Sunday with the winners looking to make the trip to Hampden.The Dons manager was a United fan as a kid and followed them through the successful Jim McLean years that offered success on every front, other than in this competition.Glass remembers being left upset at Hampden as St Mirren beat them in the 1987 final and then doing it all again to finish as bridesmaids to Celtic the following year. He changed allegiances when he signed for Aberdeen and during that time United finally lifted the Scottish Cup in 1994 under Ivan Golac but he missed it because he was away with the Dons.
