Restaurant sues customer who left £2,628 tip on £11 bill then claimed cash back
A restaurant is planning to sue a diner who deliberately left a huge tip on a bill - then tried to claim the money back. Mariana Lambert, who works as a waitress at Alfredo's Cafe in Scranton, Pennsylvania, was left gobsmacked after the Eric Smith left a $3,000 (£2,628) gratuity payment on a $13 (£11) meal.
