Deep Purple guitarist Steve Morse steps away from live duties
Deep Purple‘s Steve Morse has announced that he will be temporarily stepping away from live duties with the band.The legendary rockers were back on stage in February, where they kicked off their 2022 dates with three shows in Florida. They’re due to head to Europe in May, June and July, with dates at festivals including Hellfest in France and Stimmen Festival in Germany.In a statement posted on Facebook, the band confirmed that Morse will be taking a break, with Simon McBride replacing the guitarist for any upcoming dates.
