Jean-Marc Vallée died at the age of 58 at his cabin outside of Quebec City in Canada, Deadline has reported.The news of his passing was shared on Sunday 26 December, Boxing Day, with the publication reporting that his death was "sudden" and that he "passed away at his cabin outside Quebec City, and that his family and close advisors are in shock." The official cause of death has not been released as of yet, but the publication added that "it is considered likely he passed on December 25 and was found the following morning." Jean-Marc, who is survived by sons Alex and Émile, was a highly-acclaimed filmmaker who won Emmy Awards and a DGA Award for TV show Big Little Lies.
