Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.
Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.
Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.
Young man dies after horror crash on Highlands road
dailyrecord.co.ukA young man has died following a horror crash in the Highlands. Tragedy struck shortly after 7.30am on Friday, November 25 when officers were called to a three-car smash on the B9101, near the junction of the A939, in Bognafuaran, Nairn.
Emergency services, including Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service, sped to the scene, but sadly, a 23-year-old man was pronounced dead upon arrival.A woman was also rushed to hospital by ambulance.
Her age, the extent of her injuries and her current condition is not yet known.The road was locked down while cops launched a probe into the incident in a bid to piece together exactly what happened.
Enquiries remain ongoing, but the road has since reopened.Sergeant Christopher Donaldson said: “An investigation is under way to find out the cause of the collision and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch with us."In particular, if anyone has any dash cam footage which could assist our investigation, please pass it on by contacting Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0492 of 25 November, 2022."
