Young boy hospitalised after crash on Scots road as police probe van smash

A police investigation has been launched after a woman and an eight-year-old boy were left injured after a two vehicle crash near Forfar.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Dunnichen Road, Kingsmuir, at around 8.50am on Wednesday, November 23, following reports of a smash.

Officers closed the road for more than three hours after a white Ford Transit van had collided with a red Toyota Yaris. The female driver of the car, 44, and the young boy were taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.They have since been released following treatment.
