Amazon has announced a second Prime Day of the year for the first time ever but the deals have already started. The retailer has confirmed a second Prime Day for mid-October, just a month before it is expected to launch even bigger discounts during Black Friday on 25 November, where tens of thousands of items are reduced in time for Christmas.

The deals have started weeks before the scheduled sales events dates and shoppers who visit the Amazon deals section can get the Amazon Echo Dot device for its cheapest price ever, as well as discounted Kindle, Fire Stick and even air fryers in a flash sale on Amazon devices and kitchen appliances. The previous third generation device has been reduced to £16.99 in the same sale. The Echo Dot fourth generation can be bought for just £9.99 after cashback using an online deal, making it the cheapest you can buy it anywhere online.
