‘Yellowstone’ star on final season drama: ‘Everyone is fighting for their team’
nypost.comclip on ET. This applies to the various factions of the Dutton ranching family on the hit Paramount show — which consists of patriarch John Dutton (Kevin Costner) and his adult kids, Kayce (Grimes), Jamie (Wes Bentley), Beth (Kelly Reilly) and John’s son-in-law, Rip (Cole Hauser).
But it might also relate to the reportedly behind-the-scenes drama between Costner, 68, and showrunner Taylor Sheridan, 52. For the past few months, rumors have flown about a feud between the showrunner and star.
Initially, it was reported that Costner refused to be on-set for long while filming the second half of Season 5, which caused uncertainty about when filming would resume.
However, Costner’s attorney called that allegation an “absolute lie” —and Costner’s wife Christine Baumgartner recently filed for divorce after 18 years together.
