Katie McFadden, 33, who had been drinking white wine, was pulled over by traffic officers on a dual carriageway near her home.

Tests showed she had 130 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35mg. At Manchester Magistrates' Court, McFadden, from Wythenshawe, admitted drink driving.

She was made the subject of a 12-month community order. Earlier, she said she was in a 'coercive and violent' relationship with her then boyfriend.
