A woman says she was sent home from work for wearing an 'inappropriate outfit'. Ying says she was left baffled by her boss's decision as she couldn't see the problem with her choice of clothes.The woman moved from China to the US and has started logging her career journey in Los Angeles on social media.
Ying mentioned to her followers in a video that she had started as a saleswoman at a car company.However, a few months into the job, she updated fans that she has been sent home because of her outfit, reports the Daily Star.
The influencer shared a clip of the outfit on TikTok and said: "I got sent home from work today because of what I wear."I just don't understand." In the video, Ying is wearing a checked black and white top and tan-coloured shorts.
Adding to her ensemble, she is also wearing a long blazer and a pair of white trainers. TikTok users were quick to give their opinions on her choice of clothes, with some agreeing with her boss.One user said: "Never wear anything above the knee, it's very unprofessional.
