A woman was left feeling "very uncomfortable" after a handyman said "inappropriate and disgusting things" to her. Danielle Clair asked a plumber to come to her home to fit a radiator.

The 34-year-old thought nothing of it as the worker had been recommended to her. However, she said the moment he came into her property, she felt "on edge".

She said: "I was single and living alone and at times, as a woman, it can be very daunting to invite a total stranger into your home.
