Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.
Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.
Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

A 55-year-old woman, who was driving the white motor, was sadly pronounced dead a short time later by first responders.Officers closed the northbound carriageway, outside Newmill Farm, for around five hours to allow for a full accident investigation to take place.But investigators are now appealing for members of the public who were in the area and who may have dash cam footage to come forward.Inspector Gregory Burns said: “We are appealing for anyone in the area around the time of the crash to get in touch as you may have information that could assist with our investigation.“Road users are also asked to check their dash-cam to see if they have footage that could help with enquiries.”The road reopened at around 2.30am on Friday, November 18.Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3418 of Thursday, 17 November, 2022.
