A woman who claims she was raped by Benjamin Mendy's alleged 'fixer' denied in court she'd made up her allegation because she was 'embarrassed about what had actually happened'.

The complainant alleges she was raped by 41-year-old Louis Saha Matturie, who prosecutors have described as the Manchester City player's 'fixer', in March last year after her birthday party.

Mr Mendy, 28, is standing trial after being accused of seven counts of rape against four women; one count of attempted rape; and one count of sexual assault.

The allegations relate to seven women in total. Mr Matturie, from Eccles, Salford, denies six counts of rape; and three counts of sexual assault, relating to seven women.
