Large military helicopters will be visible in Manchester’s skies until early July as the UK’s latest batch of pilots learn their trade, LancsLive Reports The Royal Air Force (RAF) is currently training future Chinook pilots across the North West for a total of two weeks.

Based at RAF Woodvale in Southport, the training started on Monday (June 21) and is set to last until Friday, July 2.
