child killer Mark Bonini is to make another bid to be released from his life sentence for the murder of toddler Andrew Morton next month.
Under new rules on parole in Scotland, Andrew’s parents Sharon Macmillan and Andy Morton have asked to be at the hearing due to be held on or around August 19.
They also made an impassioned plea to the Parole Board for Scotland to keep the murderer in jail. Sharon and Andy, who have another six children, have also asked the board to impose restrictions on Bonini’s freedom should he be freed so he cannot return to Glasgow’s Gartnamlock, where they live.
