Why is Prince Harry wearing not wearing his uniform at the Queen's funeral?

Previously, Harry saw action on the front line during two tours of duty in Afghanistan. However, he will be wearing civilian clothes during today's funeral because he is no longer classified as a working royal.
According to protocol, only active and working royals may be permitted to wear their military uniform at the Queen's funeral.
Following his separation from the royal family, Harry was also stripped of his honorary military roles including Captain General of the Royal Marines. He added: "His decade of military service is not determined by the uniform he wears, and we respectfully ask that focus remains on the life and legacy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II." Earlier last week, he wrote of his fond memories of when the Queen attended his passing out parade in 2006 when he became an officer in the British Army.
