Strictly Come Dancing has returned to our TV screens as a host of new contestants have their eyes on the Glitterball trophy.
And among those taking part this year is comedian Jayde Adams. The Bristol-born comic has garnered a number of notable awards throughout her career, including the 2014 Funny Women award.
She was nominated for the highly-desired Best Newcomer award for her debut stand-up hour at Edinburgh Fringe. Jayde, 37, also received global notoriety with her Amazon Prime special, Serious Black Jumper, which was longlisted for an Emmy. Speaking of her involvement in this year's competition, she said: "Since I watched the first series in 2004, I feel like every step I’ve taken in my career over the last 11 years was to be on Strictly.
