msn.comStrictly Come Dancing professional Amy Dowden revealed she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The ballroom and Latin dancer, who joined the BBC One competition in 2017 and has partnered with the likes of Karim Zeroual and Tom Fletcher, was recently told by doctors she had the disease.
Taking to Instagram, Amy wrote: ‘Hey all, I’ve got some news which isn’t easy to share. ‘I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer but I’m determined to get back on that dance floor before you know it. ’The star was sent touching messages of support from her Strictly co-stars including Oti Mabuse and Dianne Buswell.
The 32-year-old said she had sought a GP appointment after finding a lump in her breast before her honeymoon with husband and was given an emergency referral.
