Liverpool and Manchester United are backing breakaway that is being dubbed the 'European Premier League' and has been earmarked for a 2022 launch date, with JP Morgan bankrolling the move to the tune of £4.6billion.The stunning development comes fresh off of the botched 'Project Big Picture', but there's a tangible sense this apparent Champions League alternative could become a reality.The Premier League’s Big Six have all been sounded out along with other clubs from around Europe for the 18-team line-up, including Real Madrid, Barcelona, and the Milan giants plus Juventus and Napoli.It's understood only five EPL sides are mooted to make the cut.
