The Scottish Parliamentary election will see 73 MSPs returned to Holyrood to represent constituencies across the country. It will see the Scottish National Party battle it out with opposition parties to maintain control.

While one new poll on the eve of the vote suggested Nicola Sturgeon's party is on course to keep an overall majority, another claimed it could lose up to six seats.

And it will be a longer wait than usual to find out the results as the way votes are counted has been affected by the coronavirus pandemic this year.
