While the move to immunise 12 to 15-year-olds has been welcomed by many families, others aren't as happy about it and say they will object to their child being given the vaccine.

So how will the programme work and what will happen if a parent refuses to consent? Well firstly England's chief medical officer Professor Chris Whitty has made it clear that the vaccine should be 'offered' to children, rather than being compulsory.
