Declan Rice says nothing has been decided about his future amid transfer links with Manchester United. The midfielder became the first West Ham captain to lift European silverware in 58 years on Wednesday as the Hammers beat Fiorentina 2-1 in the Europa Conference League final.
The 24-year-old is tipped to leave the London club this summer with the likes of Chelsea, United, Bayern Munich and Arsenal touted as interested parties.
Speaking after the full-time whistle in Prague, Rice was hesitant to discuss the rumours but refused to rule out an exit. “At the moment there’s a lot of speculation going on about my future, there’s interest from other clubs, that’s out there, but ultimately I’ve still got two more years at West Ham,” he told BT Sport. There hasn’t been nothing yet, so my focus is on playing for West Ham, enjoying tonight and seeing what happens. “I’m captain of this club, I absolutely love it to pieces and cannot speak highly enough of this place so let’s just see what happens.
