'What an achievement!' - Bolton Wanderers' Ronan Darcy clinches promotion with Queen's Park

Ronan Darcy has hailed the achievement of reaching the Scottish Championship with Queen's Park while out on loan from Bolton Wanderers.

The 21-year-old has been North of the border since the start of February for the second half of the campaign. He had spent the first portion of the campaign away from Wanderers in Norway at Sogndal.

Darcy made a total of 10 appearances in his spell with the Glasgow club. He also scored once as he earned his side a point against Alloa Athletic. Queen's Park beat Airdrieonians 3-2 on aggregate. In the second leg, The Diamonds had taken the lead through Rhys McCabe's superb free kick, but Queen's Park levelled through Connor Smith.
