West Lothian was represented at the Cowdenbeath Racewall by several local driversThe last meeting prior to the holiday break was at the Cowdenbeath Racewall - where a torrential downpour delayed the beginning of the races.Once it stopped however, the track began to dry and there was soon a dry racing line.The main race of the night for the ORCI Stock Rods was the Gordon Ross memorial trophy -with both Leon Stewart, Kirknewton, and Martin Rankine, Bathgate, in action.The race went to Michael Bethune but behind him there was a close-call with Kirknewton’s Leon Stewart - who just hung on to the runner up spot whilst Bathgate’s Martin Rankine placed fifth.In the heats that followed - Stewart placed third whilst Rankine came tenth in the first heat.In the second Rankine ended fourth while Stewart placed ninth - although the latter had to recover from a spin mid-race.Gordon Moodie won the Formula II National Championship with Harley Burns winning the Mac 100 trophy final - with Colin Forbes from Broxburn finishing in tenth place.Robbie Armit from Livingston only finished in the qualifying heats for the Ministox Open Championship - winning a runner-up spot in heat one - but a strong drive in the Championship final saw him bring his car home in fourth place.Evie McLellan, Broxburn, was racing in her Micro F2 but her only finish came during the third heat when she brought her car home in seventh place.On Sunday June 26, the overcast weather cast a cloud over the day - but the few showers on the day weren’t heavy enough to cancel the event.The main formula II race was for the Scottish Championship - in which Ben Spence won from Moodie and Jason Blacklock.Dale’s Jordan Cassie was on the grid for the Saloon version - but he was
