West Lothian nursing home residents remember the fallen and create wonderful mural

Residents at Woodlands Nursing Home in Livingston have had a busy few months.Most recently they launched their second Poppy Scotland Appeal and created another wonderful mural.This appeal proved even more successful than the first, seeing residents collaborating to create a Remembrance Day mural which was proudly displayed at the entrance of the home.

And once again they also made and sold their own poppies and raised £35 for Poppy Scotland.A special Remembrance Day service was held at the home, conducted by Nathan Young and Paul Henderson from Almondvale Gospel Hall, Nigel Rise, Dedridge.Regular church services have now resumed at the home and staff said a big thank you to the church for being so generous with their time, saying residents
